Tracktion Waveform is the most feature rich, extensive DAW you'll get for free, and provides the most effects, sample libraries for nothing. I posted about it when I found the freebies in December, and I remember at least a couple people saying they still use the FX3 because it sounds good and the staging feature is slick-rather like Altiverb's staging. I got the SFZ+ which is cool since it's multi-timbral, unlike the basic SFZ, and FX3 is the nifty Sound Stage reverb plug that can still have its uses.
